About Odense

With 200,000 inhabitants, Odense is the third largest city in Denmark. Besides being the hometown of the famous Danish fairy tale author, Hans Christian Andersen, it is a modern Danish city with a hub for robot technology and innovation. The port of Odense is one of Europe’s leading production ports for offshore wind.

This makes Odense the ideal location for this year’s SET Plan Conference. The city is located approx. 150 km from Copenhagen and it takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport to reach Odense. It is possible to buy a train ticket at the airport or via DSB
